Because of the custom, made-to-order nature of our business, it is standard that we do not accept returns, but we will consider exchanges on a case-to-case basis. However, on all CUSTOM WORK, we do not accept exchanges. Please note that the customer is responsible for all exchange postage costs. If the item you are wishing to exchange for is no longer available, a store credit will be issued. Exchanges are processed within 2 weeks of receiving your items. House of Belonging does not offer exchanges or store credit on sale items - all sale purchases are final.

We happily accept payments through PayPal as well as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and SEZZLE. Payment is required before we can begin work on your order.

House of Belonging promotions and discount codes are valid for the time frame specified ONLY and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Minimum purchase prices apply. One discount code may be used per order. Discount codes must be placed in the discount box at checkout - we will NOT go back and refund discount amount after purchase, no exceptions. Current promotions and/or discount codes cannot be used on previously paid purchases. Discount codes cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or combined with other offers. 

We do not offer order cancellations. We reserve the right to cancel/refund any order for any reason. In order to cancel your order, please contact orders@thehouseofbelonging.com.

All US orders are shipped via USPS or FEDEX and can be tracked with your tracking number - you will have tracking info sent to the email provided on your account/order when your order ships. Unfortunately, we do not package signs together for a discount on shipping. We package each sign separately to ensure the lowest chance of damage. The House of Belonging is not responsible for packages that are undelivered or misdelivered due to incorrect address - please be certain that the address provided for shipping is correct prior to checkout. If you have your order sent to the incorrect address, you will be responsible for return shipping to House of Belonging and reshipment to the correct address. 

For international shipping, please contact us for correct price quotes on shipping and size restrictions for customs - we will work with you to get a special listing set up. Please note when purchasing with The House of Belonging we only charge for transport costs to your country. We cannot be not held liable for any customs fees charged by your country upon import of the goods. 

We offer custom work, which is subject to a $50 custom design fee. This fee is for custom mockup created by one of our designers. Payment is required before the design process begins. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on custom design work. Please contact us to set up a custom listing for you. Additional and complete custom policies will be available to you in your custom listing.

If you believe your item to have a defect, please contact orders@thehouseofbelonging.com with your name, order number, details of the defect, and photographs displaying the defect within 3 days of delivery.

It is the discretion of House of Belonging to determine conditions, causes, and the fault of possible defects of the item. To be eligible for a replacement (if it is deemed a defect or shipping damage) we MUST BE CONTACTED with images of the product ( picture of entire art, close up of damage and image of box) within 3 business days.

If it is determined that a replacement is to be made. The replacement will be shipped under the same shipping service level initially paid for in the original order (i.e., Saver, Standard, Expedited, or Overnight shipping methods).

We have SOLE OWNERSHIP of any and all designs we create, including Custom Designs. We reserve the right to SHARE any and all designs we create, including Custom Designs, on all social media. We reserve the right to SELL any and all designs we create including Custom Designs, in any of our retail outlets, including our online stores.
