4 weeks girls and I still have no idea what I want I am going to read.
I haven’t sat down to just read in several years. I am forcing myself to chill out down there. No technology…
I don’t want a book that teaches me..( those are the kind I gravitate toward because I always feel there is something wrong with myself that needs fixing:)
I want something that takes me away..slows me down..oh I don’t know..I can’t put my finger on it. I need HELP!
Please feel free to leave your favorite reads in the comments
and I will send the friend of the book I choose a 10.00 Amazon gift card to use toward a book of your choice.

Jan Karon’s Mitford Series; I can pick up anyone of those books, in any chapter, and read a paragraph or two just to calm my soul! LOVE her! That series is my favorite!
Alexander McCall Smith is also an excellent author; he has quite a few series out…and
Marie Bostwicks’s Cobbled Court Series are *superb*.
Joanne Fluke’s Mysteries are very lighthearted and fun and are full of great recipes.
I could go on and on…
I am an AVID reader!!!!!! But, I would have to say….I love good blood and guts myteries. You interested? I can sure give you some great books. I read for sheer enjoyment and to scare myself. LOL.
I would have to say tho…………get the two Ree Drummond Cookbooks. She is Pioneer Woman. Not a bad recipe in the bunch and the stories are priceless. Check out her blog. It is the bomb.
Now, about those mysteries, you interested?

Hi Tiffany,
Hope you are doing well. I haven’t been able to make it down to the bottoms in like, FOREVER! Hoping to change that in September!
I absolutely LOVED the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. It was one of those books that I could not put down. The first one is called ‘A voice in the wind’. The other book that comes to mind is “Same Kind of Different as me”. Also an amazing, can’t put down book!
Have a fab trip.

Hey friend….
I’m like you….I tend to think I always need to be working on something in myself, so I gravitate towards books that “teach” me how to do something in my life better.
I love Karen Kingsbury’s novels….have you read any of hers? You could get one of her series from the library …free is always great for me.
I LOVE her books….
