Day 45 of 72 : I will not use the “S” word will you?

S C H O O L…..whew!

there I said it.  You are in one of two groups.

1) one who doesn’t think about school until a week before..saying ” tomorrow school starts?  really?!  and you make a mad dash to the nearest dept. store

2) you are a are already checking items off of your to do list

I am a #2 kinda girl. I have to budget…I feel another confession coming.  Another addiction…I LOVE walking into a store and seeing all of the school supplies…the crayons…opening the box and giving it a big sniff!  Weird maybe but I love love school supplies.  I have a pen fetish.  Have for years.  Anyway – back to the post.  Maybe I should have been a teacher….

Are you a last minute school shopper or do you plan…have you already started shopping?  If so – what are some of your favorite go to stores? Anyone have those ” tween ” kiddos that are so hard to buy for? Keeping it appropriate but still fashionable?  Me too… here are some of my favorite places to peruse…even if I don’t get to buy;)

Mini Boden & Johnny B..

Garnet Hill Kids

Matilda Jane ( there back to school collection is to die for…not really but the flesh says that;)…seriously AND their models are wearing big glasses just like Grace did in my header…too funny!)  Go browse will you?

Another gal…Paige over @ Simple Thoughts always has her girls dressed so cute.  You might check her out as the days draw closer;)  Well..happy Monday and I have some very fun suprises up my sleeve over the next couple of weeks.

Are you using the “S” word yet?

1st Day 5th grade

send the spring rain on our hearts today Father that they be broken by your plow so that we may be a plowed women…

Linking up with the girls @ Soli Del Gloria today

Glenda Childers - It has been years since my kids were in school . . . but I love school supplies.

Jen - Yep, a planner. That's what I am, although I am sure no one would be surprised by that admission. Taking the kids shopping this weekend!

Christy - I have no children (hopefully one day!) but I just adore when school supplies are put out. Especially with my new affection toward cute composition notebooks I was able to stock up the other day… haha! I have very much a planner so I definitely understand the thinking ahead. ;)

Amy Sullivan - T,

Unfortunately, I must use the "s" word. I must return to the "s" word on August 3rd. How is that even possible? Who goes back to school that early. Me, me, oh, me. Sigh.

Brittanie - I am a #2 for sure! I've already beed posting about back to school everything! Snacks, clothes, accessories. I LOVE school supplies lol

kdsullivan - I am a homeschooler, so the "s" word is extra loaded for me! Fortunately, I have been schooling for the past 14 years, so it's all routine now. Although, come to think of it, I do have a few books to purchase…thanks for the reminder!

Pamela - Well the "s" word for me is a bit of a change. My daughter begins at Indiana Wesleyan University this fall. Totally different for this Momma. My husband just started his doctorate, too so school abounds at our home — just a bit different than the last 20 years.

My fetish is notebooks. Cannot pass them up and look eagerly for the new school supplies.

amanda - So funny – I was just making a list of things I need to buy / do before school starts back up (but I got bored and would much rather read fun blogs!) We have a few more weeks until the big "s" day, but it will be here before you know it. Where did the summer go? :)

Robyn Q - Can't think about school althought something keeps proding me and I insist on living in the moment instead! LOL

I am gobbling this up today: "send the spring rain on our hearts today Father that they be broken by your plow so that we may be a plowed women…" Just beautiful, Tiff! Thank you.
