swell coconut bikini’s w/bread & a book

to make the toes feel like summer...OPI’s new summer color…teeny weeny pink bikini.

here I talked about making homemade gluten free bread remember?  Well – after pricing the ingredients I wasn’t so sure.  Rudi’s gluten free bread now has Grace’s stamp of approval.

today I visited our library and they had 2010 magazines for free.  I took the last three Better Homes and Gardens. Who wouldn’t right?  Might as well see what they have to read since I have a summer reading list that I am building on.  I haven’t heard anything about either book but I liked the titles…I love reading inspirational writings.

Do you have a Payless Shoesource by you?  I don’t ever shop there but when I saw a commercial last night with adorable sandals that would look cute with sundresses..yes I did say dress..I had to go. They come in mustard yellow, white, hot pink and turquoise.  They only had black in my size:(  I will be a Payless Shoestore stalker until I have every color!

Peonies

Can you smell them?  My oldest daughter brought them home from the farmers market on Saturday.

Raw Cold Pressed Coconut oil…our new facial cleanser and moisturizer!  Besides smelling like coconut freshly picked it is changing our skin around here.  Did I mention you can use it for chapstick?  You can..and don’t worry if it get in your mouth.  its edible.

LLH Designs - Coconut oil…haven't ever used it before, but I'm very curious! Tell me more! And I'm really into music. God uses the words to break through to the deepest places. I'm so thankful for the songwriting gift others have! "Garden" and "Lay 'Em Down" by Needtobreathe are two of my current favorites.

xoxo,

Linsey

Jen - Fresh sunflowers from my garden! I'm going to cut some tomorrow morning!!

Oh, and I read Secret Life of the Bees by Kidd and loved that. I bet it will be amazing. Oh, and if they have free Real Simple mags, take them, too.

andrea - i love all of these things. literally… ALL of them. i think we could be bests. for now, the internet will have to be our virtual coffee shop to meet and gab, and share beautiful lists like the one above. :)

marlece - It makes me feel like, "summer hurry up and get here!" reading this post. Yes, I could smell the peones, oh yes I could!

Debbie - I really love those Payless sandles. I need to stop by our local store. I WISH we could grow peonies well where I live. My mother has tried, but it's very difficult. They are some of the most beautiful flowers of all.

kerrie - I've added your blog to my companion list on my hidden blog 'In The Quiet'. I also added a new song by Heather Clark on the mixpod that I think you will like. you can find me at wwwinthequiet-fairmaiden.blogspot.com

I just noticed you live in Missouri. I lived in the Kansas City area(Olathe, KS and Belton, Mo.) for a total of only 18 mos that seemed like five. It was back in 1999 and the beginning of my wilderness season. We have alot in common…I have been raising babies, children, now teens and young adults for 22 yrs. I still believe in happily ever after or as I would say in Love that lasts. I believe love is supposed to be lasting but mine sure is going through a battle. I am remaining on the only path I know to remain on and that is love, Christ's love. I am His, He is mine, and even when all others forsake me He will not abandon me, He will never leave. I will go on breathing in His life and loving all that He puts in my life. His love strengthens me to endure and to overcome. We will make it. We will one day be on that sea of glass worshipping day and night, twirling, dancing, singing, laughing, crying, loving, caught up in beauty. I love you Tiffini and look forward to twirling with you one day whether it be on earth or heaven. You are beautiful.

PS love Lifehouse…always moves my heart to tears.

Got to have some of those ruffly sandels!

kerrie - I meant it seemed like five years!

Jennifer - Ohh… I love OPI colors! :) Those sandals are SO cute! Perfect with pink polished nails! Our peonies haven't bloomed yet… can not wait. They smell amazing! Cute pillow!

Stephanie Clayton - Oh my goodness this post is just filled with things I love too! And I totally NEED those sandals!!! And Broken by Lifehouse!!!! One of my fav songs ever, earlier tonight I heard it and was thinking I needed to add it to my blog playlist. There is a lot of history of me with that song…let's just say it pulled me through some VERY rough times!!!!!!!!!!

Joywriter - A bike ride, dinner with my sweetie, having one or more offspring pop in for a visit, fresh green beans from the garden… all make a great weekend perfect for me!

Melanie - I use raw coconut oil as a moisturizer as well–it's GREAT! I love natural products.

Great photos and blog. :)

Cha Cha - How do you get it all done. You made a pillow, found new products and had time to write a post about it. I have been cover up with life and mostly ignored my blog and friends, sorry you were ignored. Please know I was still reading, I hope that life is back to normal now and I can have time to visit longer.

Cha Cha

Pamela - So sorry you had trouble posting on my blog. I don't know enough to know why. :-)

You book choices look so interesting. I've read some by Sue Monk Kidd but not the other author. I'll have to look it up.

Have a fun-filled, joyful week,
Pamela
